The NSR10F40NXT5G is a Schottky barrier diode from On Semiconductor, designed for low forward voltage drop and low leakage current. It is rated for a maximum reverse voltage of 40V and a continuous forward current of 1A. The diode features a typical forward voltage of 490mV at 1A and a reverse leakage current of 10µA at 10V, with a maximum of 100µA at 40V. It has a very high switching speed and ESD ratings of >8kV (Human Body Model) and >400V (Machine Model).
The device is packaged in a compact 2-XDFN (DSN2) surface mount package, measuring 1.4x0.6mm, which saves board space. It supports a junction temperature range of -40°C to +150°C and is available in tape and reel packaging with 5000 pieces per reel. The diode is Pb-Free, Halogen Free/BFR Free, and RoHS compliant.
Typical applications include LCD and keypad backlighting, camera photo flash, buck and boost DC-DC converters, reverse voltage protection, and clamping circuits. It is suitable for mobile handsets, MP3 players, digital cameras, notebook PCs, and GPS devices.
