The NSR0620P2T5G is a Schottky barrier diode from onsemi optimized for very low forward voltage drop and low leakage current. It is designed for use in DC-DC converters, clamping and protection applications in portable devices. The device has a maximum reverse voltage of 20V and can handle a continuous forward current of 500mA. Its forward voltage drop is only 350mV at 100mA and 520mV at 500mA, contributing to high efficiency.
The diode offers very high switching speed with a reverse recovery time of 4ns at 10mA, making it suitable for high-frequency circuits. It also features low junction capacitance of 12pF at 1V, reducing switching losses. The device is housed in a compact SOD-923 surface mount package, enabling space-constrained designs. Power dissipation is 190mW with minimum trace, and thermal resistance junction-to-ambient is 520°C/W.
Typical applications include LCD and keypad backlighting, camera photo flash, buck and boost DC-DC converters, reverse voltage protection, and clamping circuits. The NSR0620P2T5G is Pb-Free and Halogen Free, and is available in tape and reel packaging.
