The NSR0530P2T5G is a Schottky barrier diode from onsemi optimized for low forward voltage drop and low leakage current. It features a maximum reverse voltage of 30 V and a continuous forward current of 500 mA. Typical forward voltage is 0.37 V at 100 mA and 0.52 V at 500 mA. Reverse leakage is typically 1.4 µA at 10 V and 24 µA at 30 V. The device has a low total capacitance of 10 pF at 1 V and 1 MHz. ESD ratings are Class 3B for Human Body Model and Class C for Machine Model.
The diode is housed in a compact SOD-923 surface mount package and is supplied in tape and reel with 8000 pieces per reel. Power dissipation is 190 mW with minimum trace and 570 mW with a 1 sq in trace. Operating temperature range is -55°C to 125°C.
Applications include LCD and keypad backlighting, camera photo flash, buck and boost DC-DC converters, reverse voltage and current protection, and clamping and protection circuits. The device is suitable for portable electronics such as mobile handsets, MP3 players, digital cameras, and notebooks.
