The NSR0240HT1G from onsemi is a Schottky barrier diode optimized for very low forward voltage drop and low leakage current. It is designed for use in a wide range of DC-DC converter, clamping, and protection applications in portable devices.
Key electrical specifications include a maximum reverse voltage of 40V, continuous forward current of 250mA, and a typical forward voltage drop of 480mV at 100mA. The reverse current is typically 0.2µA at 25V reverse voltage. The device offers a high switching speed with a reverse recovery time of 3ns (typical) and low capacitance of 4pF at 5V, 1MHz.
Power dissipation is 160mW with minimum trace on an FR-4 board, increasing to 270mW with a 1-inch square copper pad. The junction-to-ambient thermal resistance is 740°C/W for minimum trace and 460°C/W for larger copper area.
The NSR0240HT1G is supplied in a surface-mount SOD-323 package, Pb-free, halogen-free, and RoHS compliant. It is available in tape and reel packaging with 3000 units per reel for automated assembly.
