The NSR01L30NXT5G is a Schottky barrier diode from On Semiconductor designed for low forward voltage drop and low reverse leakage. It features a maximum reverse voltage of 30V and a continuous forward current of 100mA. Typical forward voltage is 400mV at 10mA and 530mV at 100mA. Reverse leakage current is 0.2µA typical at 10V. The diode offers very high switching speed and low capacitance of 7pF at 5V and 1MHz. ESD ratings exceed 8kV (Human Body Model) and 400V (Machine Model).
Power dissipation is 312mW with minimum trace and 735mW with 1in² copper on a standard FR-4 board. Thermal resistance junction-to-ambient is 400°C/W (minimum trace) and 170°C/W (1in² Cu). Operating junction temperature is up to 150°C, with storage from -40°C to +125°C.
The device is housed in a 0201 (0603 Metric) DSN2 package with solderable metal contacts and no-lead termination, enabling surface mount assembly. It is supplied in tape and reel with 5000 units per reel. The part is halide-free and Pb-free as verified by the datasheet.
Typical applications include LCD and keypad backlighting, camera photo flash, buck and boost DC-DC converters, reverse voltage and current protection, and clamping circuits. It is suited for mobile handsets, MP3 players, digital cameras, notebook PCs, PDAs, and GPS devices.
