The On Semiconductor NSPM8181MUTBG is a unidirectional TVS diode designed for ESD and surge protection. It features a reverse standoff voltage of 18V, a breakdown voltage of 20V to 23.5V, and a clamping voltage of 30V at 8/20 µs waveform. The device can handle a peak pulse current of up to 119A (8/20 µs) and provides ESD protection to IEC 61000-4-2 Level 4 at ±30 kV contact discharge.
This component is suitable for general purpose circuit protection where a single high current unidirectional TVS is required. It is available in a compact 6-UFDFN exposed pad package (6-UDFN 1.8x2) and supports surface mount assembly. The part is Pb-Free and RoHS compliant.
