The NSPM3031MXT5G is a bidirectional ESD and surge protection device designed by On Semiconductor to protect voltage sensitive components from electrostatic discharge (ESD) and other transient voltage events. It features a reverse working voltage of 3.3V and a breakdown voltage range of 4.0V to 5.5V. The device provides excellent clamping capability with a maximum clamping voltage of 7.6V at 45A peak pulse current (8/20µs waveform).
This TVS diode meets IEC 61000-4-2 Level 4 ESD protection with ±30kV contact and air discharge ratings, and IEC 61000-4-5 surge protection up to 45A. It exhibits low leakage current of 0.1µA at 3.3V and a capacitance of 87pF at 1MHz, making it suitable for high-speed signal lines. The device is housed in a small 1.0mm x 0.6mm X2DFN surface mount package, ideal for space-constrained portable electronics.
Typical applications include battery line protection, audio line protection, and GPIO protection in cellular phones, tablets, MP3 players, digital cameras, and other portable devices. The NSPM3031MXT5G is Pb-Free, Halogen Free/BFR Free, and RoHS compliant.
