The NSPM2052MUT5G is a unidirectional TVS (Transient Voltage Suppression) diode designed for ESD and surge protection. It is manufactured by On Semiconductor and comes in a compact 3-UDFN surface mount package.
The device has a reverse working voltage of 5V and a minimum breakdown voltage of 5.1V (typical 7V) at 1mA test current. It can handle peak pulse currents up to 120A (8/20µs waveform) with a maximum clamping voltage of 9V at 120A. The typical clamping voltage at 80A is 7V, and at 100A is 7.5V. Reverse leakage current is limited to 0.1µA at 5V.
The NSPM2052MUT5G meets IEC 61000-4-2 Level 4 ESD requirements with ±30kV contact and air discharge ratings. It is also compliant with IEC 61000-4-5 for surge protection. The device is Pb-free, halogen free/BFR free, and RoHS compliant.
The diode operates over a junction temperature range of -65°C to 150°C and is supplied in tape and reel packaging with a standard quantity of 8000 units per reel. The UDFN3 package (1.6x1mm) is suitable for space-constrained applications.
