The NSPM2051MUT5G is a unidirectional ESD protection diode from On Semiconductor designed to safeguard sensitive electronics from electrostatic discharge and lightning surges. It provides protection per IEC61000-4-2 Level 4 with ±30kV contact and air discharge, and IEC61000-4-5 lightning surge up to 100A (8/20µs waveform).
Key electrical characteristics include a reverse working voltage of 5.0V, breakdown voltage range of 5.1V to 7.0V at 1mA, and clamping voltages of 7.5V at 40A, 9.5V at 80A, and 10.5V at 100A. Reverse leakage current is a maximum of 0.1µA at 5V. The device features a typical junction capacitance of 380pF at 0V and 1MHz.
This diode is housed in a compact 2-UDFN surface mount package (Case 517CZ) measuring 1.6x1mm, suitable for space-constrained designs. It operates over a junction temperature range of -65°C to 150°C. The part is RoHS3 compliant, Pb-Free, and Halogen Free/BFR Free.
