The NSD914F3T5G is a high-speed switching diode designed by On Semiconductor. It is a spin-off of the popular SOT-23 three-leaded device, optimized for surface mount applications where board space is at a premium. The diode is housed in the SOT-1123 package and is available in tape and reel packaging with 8000 units per reel.
Key electrical specifications include a maximum reverse voltage of 100 V, a maximum forward current of 200 mA, and a peak forward surge current of 500 mA. The forward voltage is typically 1 V at 10 mA. The device features a fast reverse recovery time of 4 ns (at IF = IR = 10 mA), making it suitable for high-speed switching applications. The diode capacitance is 4 pF at 0 V and 1 MHz.
Thermal characteristics are provided for two copper trace conditions: with 100 mm² 1 oz copper, the maximum power dissipation is 290 mW and junction-to-ambient thermal resistance is 432 °C/W; with 500 mm² 1 oz copper, dissipation increases to 347 mW and thermal resistance drops to 360 °C/W. The junction-to-lead thermal resistance (lead 3) is 143 °C/W under the larger copper condition. The operating temperature range is -55°C to 150°C.
The NSD914F3T5G is Pb-Free and Halide-Free, and is RoHS compliant (unverified). It is designed for low-power surface mount applications requiring high-speed switching.
