The Vishay Dale NSB8ATHE3_B/I is a glass-passivated, general-purpose plastic rectifier designed for use in power supplies, inverters, converters, and freewheeling diode applications. It offers a maximum repetitive peak reverse voltage of 50V and a maximum average forward rectified current of 8.0A at 100°C.
Key electrical characteristics include a typical forward voltage of 1.1V at 8A and a peak forward surge current of 125A for an 8.3ms single sine-wave. The operating temperature range is -55°C to +150°C.
This rectifier is housed in a TO-263AB (D²Pak) surface-mount package. The molding compound meets UL 94 V-0 flammability rating. Terminals are matte tin plated and solderable per J-STD-002 and JESD 22-B102. It is AEC-Q101 qualified, indicating suitability for automotive applications.
