The NRVUS1KFA is a super fast surface mount rectifier diode designed and manufactured by On Semiconductor (onsemi). It is part of the US1AFA-US1MFA series and features a glass passivated chip junction for high reliability. This device is AEC-Q101 qualified and PPAP capable, indicated by the NRV prefix, making it suitable for automotive applications.
Electrical specifications include a maximum repetitive peak reverse voltage of 800 V, maximum RMS reverse voltage of 560 V, and maximum DC blocking voltage of 800 V. The average forward rectified current is rated at 1 A, with a peak forward surge current of 30 A (8.3 ms single half sine-wave). Maximum forward voltage is 1.7 V at 1 A. Reverse current is a maximum of 5 µA at 25°C and 150 µA at 125°C. The reverse recovery time is 75 ns maximum under test conditions of IF=0.5 A, IR=1 A, Irr=0.25 A. The device operates over a junction temperature range of -55°C to +150°C and is housed in a SOD-123FL surface mount package. Thermal resistance is typical 21°C/W junction-to-lead and 153°C/W junction-to-ambient (minimum pad). The package is supplied in tape and reel with 3,000 units per reel.
Compliance includes RoHS3, REACH unaffected, and MSL 1 (unlimited). The device is Pb-Free and Halogen Free as per the datasheet. It is ideal for high-frequency rectification and freewheeling applications where fast switching is required.
