The NRVTSA4100ET3G is a Trench Schottky rectifier from On Semiconductor designed for low forward voltage and very low leakage. It is rated for 100V DC blocking voltage and 4A average rectified forward current, with a peak repetitive forward current of 8A and non-repetitive surge current of 150A. The device offers fast switching with exceptional temperature stability, making it suitable for high-frequency applications.
Typical applications include switching power supplies, DC-DC converters, freewheeling and OR-ing diodes, reverse battery protection, and LED lighting. The rectifier is AEC-Q101 qualified for automotive use and is Pb-Free and Halide-Free.
The NRVTSA4100ET3G is housed in a DO-214AC (SMA) surface-mount package with 100% matte tin lead finish. It meets MSL 1 requirements and has a maximum soldering temperature of 260°C for 10 seconds. Thermal resistance is 16.2°C/W junction-to-lead and 90°C/W junction-to-ambient on standard FR4 with 600 mm² copper pad.
