The NRVTS6100PFST3G is a Trench Schottky barrier rectifier from On Semiconductor designed for high-performance power conversion. It features a maximum reverse voltage of 100V and an average forward current of 6A. The forward voltage is typically 680mV at 6A, enabling low conduction losses. The device offers a junction capacitance of 827pF at 1V, making it suitable for high switching frequency applications. It also provides a non-repetitive avalanche energy rating of 145mJ minimum, enhancing robustness in ORing and reverse protection circuits.
The rectifier is housed in a TO-277-3 surface-mount package, which offers excellent thermal performance with a junction-to-ambient thermal resistance of 70°C/W. The operating junction temperature range is -55°C to 175°C. The package is MSL1 rated and has a lead finish of 100% matte tin. ESD ratings include HBM ≥8000V and CDM >1000V, ensuring reliability in handling.
Typical applications include high-frequency DC-DC converters, secondary rectification, ORing and reverse protection, and freewheeling diodes for inductive loads. The device is supplied in tape and reel packaging with 1500 units per reel.
