The NRVFES6J is an ultrafast rectifier diode from ON Semiconductor, part of the FES6/NRVFES6 series. It is designed for surface mount applications requiring high efficiency and fast switching. With a repetitive peak reverse voltage of 600V and an average forward rectified current of 6A, it is suitable for power supply and other rectification circuits. The device features a maximum forward voltage of 2.2V at 6A and 25°C, and a typical reverse recovery time of 45ns, enabling low power loss and high frequency operation. The diode can handle a peak forward surge current of 80A (8.3ms single half sine-wave). It operates over a junction temperature range of -55°C to 175°C. The TO-277-3 package offers a low profile (typical height 1.1mm) and low thermal resistance (junction-to-lead 6°C/W, junction-to-ambient 100°C/W). The NRVFES6J is RoHS compliant, lead-free, and halogen-free. It is also available with an NRV prefix for automotive applications requiring AEC-Q101 qualification.
