The NRVBA160NT3G is a surface-mount Schottky power rectifier from ON Semiconductor, designed for low voltage, high frequency applications. It features a 60V peak repetitive reverse voltage (VRRM) and can handle 1.0A average rectified forward current at TL=105°C or 2.1A at TL=70°C. The forward voltage drop is typically 510mV at 1A, enabling efficient operation. The device can withstand non-repetitive peak surge currents up to 60A and offers a high dv/dt capability of 10000 V/µs.
This rectifier is built with Schottky barrier technology, featuring oxide passivation and a guard-ring for stress protection. It is qualified to AEC-Q101 for automotive applications, indicated by the NRVBA prefix. The component is Pb-Free, Halogen Free/BFR Free, and RoHS compliant. ESD ratings are Human Body Model 3B and Machine Model C.
The device is housed in a compact DO-214AC (SMA) package with J-bent leads, suitable for automated handling. It weighs approximately 70 mg and is supplied in tape and reel packaging with 5000 units per 13-inch reel.
