The NRVB30H100MFST3G is a Schottky barrier rectifier diode from On Semiconductor, designed for switch-mode power supply applications. It features a low forward voltage drop of 900 mV at 30 A and a fast recovery time of ≤500 ns.
With a DC blocking voltage of 100 V and average rectified current of 30 A, this diode is suitable for output rectification in compact portable consumer electronics, freewheeling diode in inductive loads, and telecom power conversion. The device can handle non-repetitive peak surge currents up to 300 A.
The diode is housed in a surface mount 8-PowerTDFN package with 5 leads (5-DFN 5x6, also known as 8-SOFL). It operates over a junction temperature range of -55°C to 175°C. The NRVB prefix indicates automotive qualification (AEC-Q101) and PPAP capability.
The device is Pb-free and Halide-free, with lead finish of 100% matte tin. It meets MSL 1 requirements and is supplied in tape and reel packaging (5000 per reel for the T3G suffix).
