NRF2401AG

The NRF2401AG is a true single-chip GFSK transceiver operating in the 2.4 GHz ISM band. Designed by Nordic Semiconductor, this device integrates a frequency synthesizer, power amplifier, crystal oscillator, and modulator into a compact 24-pin QFN package (5x5mm).

Key electrical specifications include a wide supply voltage range of 1.9V to 3.6V, a maximum output power of 0dBm, and a maximum data rate of 1Mbps. The transceiver boasts a sensitivity of -93dBm and supports SPI serial interfaces for programming. Power consumption is notably low, with a typical transmit current of 10.5mA at -5dBm output power and 18mA in receive mode. Built-in power-down modes further enhance power saving capabilities.

This transceiver is suitable for various wireless applications such as wireless mice, keyboards, joysticks, keyless entry systems, and general wireless data communication. It operates across a temperature range of -40°C to +85°C and is available in a 24-VQFN exposed pad package suitable for surface mounting.

The NRF2401AG is designed for world-wide use and requires only two external components. It supports multi-channel operation with 125 channels and fast channel switching times under 200µs, along with frequency hopping capabilities.
