The NLSX5011AMUTBG from ON Semiconductor is a 1-bit, configurable, dual-supply, auto-sensing, bidirectional level translator. It does not require a direction control pin, simplifying design. The I/O ports track two different power supply rails, VCC and VL, both configurable from 0.9 V to 4.5 V. This allows for flexible translation between higher and lower logic signal voltages.
The device features independent VCC and VL supplies, offering design flexibility where VL can be greater than, equal to, or less than VCC. It boasts a high output current capability, enabling it to drive high capacitive loads. The NLSX5011AMUTBG supports a data rate of 100 Mbps and a guaranteed data rate of 140 Mb/s for VCC, VL > 1.8 V. It also offers low bit-to-bit skew and overvoltage tolerant enable and I/O pins.
An Output Enable (EN) input is available to reduce power consumption by placing both I/O ports in a 3-state condition, significantly reducing supply current. The EN signal is referenced to the VL supply. The NLSX5011AMUTBG is available in a small 6-UDFN package, suitable for surface mounting.
