It does not require a directional control pin, allowing VCC I/O and VL I/O ports to track different power supply rails. The VCC supply rail is configurable from 1.65 V to 4.5 V, while the VL supply rail is configurable from 1.2 V to 4.1 V. This enables translation between lower and higher voltage logic signals.

 

This translator features open-drain outputs with integrated 10 kΩ pullup resistors on the I/O lines, which can pull up to either VL or VCC. It offers a high-speed data rate of 20 Mb/s guaranteed for VL > 2.5 V and is suitable for open-drain applications like the I2C communication bus. The device also includes an enable input and I/O lines with overvoltage tolerance up to 4.5 V.

 

The NLSX3373MUTAG is supplied in a small 8-UDFN package measuring 1.8 x 1.2 x 0.5 mm, making it ideal for space-saving applications. It operates over a temperature range of -40°C to 85°C.
