The NIS1161MTTAG is a low capacitance ESD protection device from On Semiconductor, part of the NIx1161 series. It integrates ESD protection diodes with MOSFETs to provide short-to-battery blocking for automotive high-speed data lines.
With an ultra-low typical capacitance of 0.65pF (I/O to GND), this device minimizes signal distortion on high-speed differential lines. It offers ESD protection up to ±8kV contact and ±15kV air per IEC 61000-4-2, and a peak pulse current of 1A (8/20µs). The breakdown voltage ranges from 16.5V to 23V at 1mA, with a clamping voltage of 26V at 1A.
The device is housed in a surface-mount 6-WDFN exposed pad package (2x2mm) and is supplied in tape and reel packaging with a standard quantity of 3000 pieces. It is RoHS3 compliant, Pb-free, and halogen-free. The flow-through style package simplifies PCB layout for matched trace lengths.
