NESW064T

The NICHIA NESW064T is a white LED suitable for discrete indication purposes. It operates with a typical forward voltage of 3.1V at 20mA and provides a typical luminous intensity of 1200 mcd at 20mA, or 1600 mcd at 30mA. The LED's chromaticity coordinates are x=0.31 and y=0.32 at 20mA.

This component has an absolute maximum forward current of 30mA and a pulse forward current of 100mA. Its power dissipation is rated at a maximum of 105mW. The operating temperature range is broad, from -40°C to +110°C, with a storage temperature range also spanning -40°C to +110°C. The dice temperature has a maximum limit of 125°C.

Thermal characteristics include a heat resistance from dice to ambient (Rja) of 360°C/W and from dice to solder (Rjs) of 180°C/W, assuming a standard FR4 circuit board. Soldering can be performed via reflow at 260°C for 10 seconds or hand soldering at 350°C for 3 seconds.

The NESW064T is packaged in a tape and reel format. The package is constructed from heat-resistant polymer, and the encapsulating resin is silicone resin with diffused phosphor. Electrodes are made of Ag plating copper alloy.
