The Neutrik NE8FDH-C5E-SE is a CAT5e RJ45 jack designed for horizontal PCB mounting. It meets TIA/EIA 568C channel specifications for CAT5e and ISO/IEC 11801 CLASS D performance. The connector supports Power over Ethernet (PoE) Type 4 Class 8 up to 100W per IEEE 802.3bt.
Electrically, it has a rated current of 1.5A per contact, a maximum rated voltage of 57 V, and a contact resistance of less than 50 mΩ. Dielectric strength is 1 kVdc, and insulation resistance exceeds 0.5 GΩ. The frequency range covers 1 to 100 MHz.
Mechanically, the jack features a latch lock, a D-shaped chassis, and contacts made of bronze (CuSn8) with 0.2 µm gold over nickel plating.
