The ON Semiconductor NCV97310MW33AR2G is a versatile 3-output power management unit designed for automotive applications. It integrates a high-voltage, 3A, 2MHz non-synchronous switcher and two low-voltage, 1.5A, 2MHz synchronous switchers, all with integrated power transistors.

The high-voltage switcher handles an input range of 4.1V to 18V, providing a 3.3V output at a 2MHz switching frequency. It offers protection against overvoltage conditions up to 36V and shuts down in load dump conditions up to 45V. The two downstream synchronous switchers are powered by the high-voltage switcher's output and offer adjustable output voltages from 1.2V to 2.8V, each with a 1.5A average current limit and a 2MHz switching frequency.

Key features include low quiescent current in standby mode, programmable spread spectrum for EMI reduction, and individual enable and reset pins for flexible power management. The device incorporates internal soft-starts, cycle-by-cycle current limiting, hiccup mode short-circuit protection, and thermal shutdown for robust operation. It is supplied in a 32-QFNW package with wettable flanks, suitable for surface mounting.

This power management unit is AEC-Q100 qualified and PPAP capable, making it suitable for demanding automotive environments. It also meets Pb-Free, Halogen Free/BFR Free, and RoHS compliance standards.
