This transceiver operates within a wide temperature range of -40°C to +150°C and is supplied in a 16-SSOP package suitable for surface mounting. Key electrical features include a supply voltage range of 4.75V to 5.25V for VCC, and it is compatible with 14V and 28V systems.

 

The NCV7381C offers excellent EMC and ESD performance, with bus pins protected against >10 kV system ESD pulses. Its mode control functionality is optimized for nodes permanently connected to a car battery, ensuring safe behavior under missing or no supply conditions. The device also supports a FlexRay low-power mode receiver for remote wakeup detection.
