The NCV33064P-5RPG from On Semiconductor is an undervoltage sensing circuit designed for use as a reset controller in microprocessor-based systems. It offers an economical solution for low voltage detection with a single external resistor. The device features a trimmed-in-package bandgap reference and a comparator with precise thresholds and built-in hysteresis to prevent erratic reset operation.
Key electrical characteristics include a comparator threshold of 4.6V at 25°C, guaranteed over temperature. The reset output is open drain and capable of sinking in excess of 10 mA. Operation is guaranteed down to 1.0V input with low standby current. The operating temperature range is -40°C to 125°C.
