The NCS5000SNT1G is an integrated RF Schottky detector by ON Semiconductor, suitable for RF measurement and power control applications like those found in GSM handsets. It converts peak RF voltage to a DC level and is designed for operation up to 2.0 GHz with input power levels up to +25 dBm.
This detector operates with a supply voltage range of 2.7V to 5.5V and consumes very low operating current of 300 µA. It features an enable control for a low power standby mode with typical standby current below 1.0 µA. The operating temperature range is -40°C to 85°C.
The NCS5000SNT1G is housed in a compact TSOP-6 package, ideal for portable applications. The TSOP-6 package offers a lower profile and is footprint compatible with the SOT23-6 package. Typical applications include cellular handsets (GSM and DCS1800/PCS1900), wireless data modems, transmitter power measurement and control, and test equipment.
