The ON Semiconductor NCP451FCT2G is a highly integrated load switch designed to optimize battery life and autonomy in portable electronic devices. It features a low Ron N-channel MOSFET structure, minimizing leakage currents and effectively isolating connected ICs when not in use.
This device supports a wide operating voltage range from 0.75 V to 5.5 V, with a DC current capability of up to 3 A. It includes an output auto-discharge path to eliminate residual voltages on the output rail and an active-high enable pin for logic control. The NCP451FCT2G offers a typical on-resistance of 12 mOhm from 3.6 V to 5.5 V and 13 mOhm from 1 V to 3.3 V.
Packaged in a compact 0.9 x 1.4 mm WLCSP6, this load switch is suitable for space-constrained applications. It is Pb-free, Halogen-free/BFR-free, and RoHS compliant. Typical applications include mobile phones, tablets, digital cameras, GPS devices, and other portable electronics.
