NCP1835BMNR2G

The NCP1835BMNR2G from ON Semiconductor is an integrated linear charger specifically designed for charging single-cell Li-Ion batteries using a constant current, constant voltage (CCCV) profile. It features adjustable charge current up to 300mA and maintains a precise 4.2V regulated output voltage with 1% accuracy. The device is optimized for low-capacity batteries found in devices like wireless headsets and MP3 players.

This charger integrates voltage and current regulation, eliminating the need for external MOSFETs, sense resistors, or blocking diodes. It includes pre-charge current for conditioning deeply discharged batteries and end-of-charge (EOC) detection. The NCP1835BMNR2G operates with a minimum input voltage of 2.4V, allowing compatibility with current-limited adapters and USB ports. It also features onboard thermal foldback for protection.
