NB3N200SDG Description

Short technical summary and product information.

The ON Semiconductor NB3N200SDG is a pure 3.3V supply differential Multipoint Low Voltage (M-LVDS) line driver and receiver. It is TIA/EIA-899 compliant and offers a Type 1 receiver with a threshold at 0.0V, capable of detecting bus states with as little as 50 mV of differential input voltage.

This device supports signaling rates up to 200 Mbps and features a wide common-mode voltage range of -1V to 3.4V, allowing data transfer with up to 2V of ground noise. The NB3N200SDG incorporates 25 mV of hysteresis in its Type-1 receivers to prevent output oscillations with slowly changing signals. It is suitable for simplex or half-duplex bus configurations.

Designed for low-power, high-speed, short-reach applications, the NB3N200SDG is an alternative to TIA/EIA-485. It is ideal for backplane or cabled multipoint data and clock transmission in applications such as cellular base stations, central-office switches, and network switches and routers.

The component operates within a voltage range of 3.0V to 3.6V (3.3V ±10%) and has an operating temperature range of -40°C to 85°C. It comes in a Pb-Free 8-SOIC package.
