NAC3MX-W

The Neutrik NAC3MX-W is a discontinued locking male cable connector for AC power applications. It is designed to replace standard appliance couplers where a rugged, locking solution is needed for a safe power connection. This connector offers a 16A rated current per contact (20A in the USA) and a 250V AC rated voltage.

Key features include breaking capacity (CBC), allowing connection or disconnection under load. It is dust and water resistant to IP65 when mated, utilizing an easy and reliable twist lock system. The construction is extremely robust and reliable, with unique Neutrik cable retention. The connector is ENEC certified according to IEC 60320 and UL recognized components.

Technical specifications include a contact resistance of ≤ 3 mΩ, dielectric strength of 4 kVdc / 2.8 kVac, and insulation resistance of 0.1 GΩ after damp heat test. It has 2 + PE electrical contacts. The cable outer diameter range is 6-12 mm, and the wire size is 1.0-2.5 mm² (12 AWG). Contact plating is 2 µm Ag, with contacts made of CuNi1Si0.2. The insert and shell are Polyamide (PA 6.6 30 % GR), and the strain relief is Polyacetal (POM). The operating temperature range is -30 °C to +80 °C.

This connector is suitable for applications requiring a secure and durable power connection. It is important to note that this product is discontinued and has been replaced by the powerCON TRUE1 TOP series, though connectors from both series are fully compatible.
