The 3M N7E50-M516RB-50 is a 50-position CompactFlash card connector from the 7E50 Series, designed to mate with both CompactFlash Type I and Type II cards. It features a right angle surface mount configuration with a single row of solder tails, facilitating automated placement and IR soldering. The connector includes board and card guides for accurate insertion and stability.
Electrical specifications include a current rating of 0.5 A per contact, with a minimum insulation resistance of 1000 Ω at 500 V DC and a minimum dielectric withstanding voltage of 500 V AC for 1 minute. The operating temperature range is -40°C to +85°C, and the connector can withstand a maximum reflow temperature of 260°C per J-STD-020C.
The housing is made of high temperature thermoplastic with a UL 94V-0 flammability rating. Contacts are copper alloy with 0.76 μm gold plating on the wiping area and matte tin on the solder tails. The connector is available in standard white polystyrene trays or tape and reel packaging.
