The 3M N10250-52E2PC is a 50 position Mini D Ribbon (MDR) receptacle connector from the 102 Series. It features a right angle orientation with through hole solder termination and panel mount capability. The connector is shielded and includes board locks, a rugged die cast zinc alloy body with nickel plating, and a glass reinforced polyester (PCT) insulator rated UL 94V-0.
Electrical specifications include a current rating of 1A per contact, insulation resistance greater than 5 × 10^8 Ω at 500 VDC, and a withstanding voltage of 500 VRMS for 1 minute. The operating temperature range is -55°C to +105°C, with a process rating of 260°C per J-STD-020C. Contacts are copper alloy with 30 μ″ minimum gold in the wiping area and gold flash over nickel on solder tails.
This connector is designed for reliable repetitive plugging with a wiper-on-wiper contact system. It includes an interface latch for connection stability and screw or ground lock for PCB retention. The 0.050" (1.27 mm) lead spacing is compatible with standard Centronics-style layouts.
