With a repetitive peak reverse voltage rating of 600V and an average forward current of 3A, this device is suitable for use as a boost diode in power factor correction circuits and as a free-wheeling diode in power supplies.
Key electrical characteristics include a low forward voltage of 1.25V at 3A and a fast reverse recovery time of 50ns. The diode also features a surge overload rating to 100A peak for 8.3ms. Its SMB (DO-214AA) package is ideal for automated assembly processes.
This rectifier is constructed with glass-passivated die technology. It is RoHS 3 compliant, lead-free, and halogen/antimony-free, making it a 'Green' device. The operating temperature range is -55°C to 175°C.
