The MURS360-M3/9AT is a surface-mount ultrafast plastic rectifier from Vishay General Semiconductor, designed for high-efficiency power conversion. It features a glass passivated pellet chip junction for reliability and is rated for a maximum repetitive peak reverse voltage of 600V and an average rectified current of 3.0A (at TL=130°C) or 4.0A (at TL=115°C). The device offers an ultrafast reverse recovery time of 75ns (max) with typical 50ns, enabling low switching losses in high-frequency circuits.
This rectifier is well-suited for use in switching mode power supplies, inverters, and freewheeling applications in consumer, computer, automotive, and telecommunications equipment. It provides high forward surge capability of 125A (8.3ms) and operates over a junction temperature range of -65°C to 175°C.
The device is housed in a standard DO-214AB (SMC) package with matte tin plated terminals, compatible with automated placement processes. It meets MSL level 1 per J-STD-020 and is available in a RoHS-compliant, halogen-free version (M3 suffix).
