The MURS205T3G is a surface mount ultrafast power rectifier diode designed by On Semiconductor. It is rated for a peak repetitive reverse voltage of 50V and an average rectified forward current of 2A at a lead temperature of 125°C. The device offers a low forward voltage drop of 0.74V maximum at 2A and 150°C junction temperature, and a fast reverse recovery time of 30ns.
This rectifier is suitable for high voltage, high frequency rectification, as well as free wheeling and protection diode applications in surface mount designs where compact size and weight are critical. The part is housed in a DO-214AA (SMB) package with J-bend leads, and is supplied in tape and reel packaging of 2500 pieces.
The MURS205T3G is compliant with RoHS and is lead-free and halogen-free. It has an ESD rating of HBM Class 3A (>4 kV) and MM Class C (>400 V). The operating junction temperature range is -60°C to 175°C.
