The MURS160T3G is an ultra-fast recovery rectifier from On Semiconductor, designed for high voltage, high frequency rectification applications. It features a peak repetitive reverse voltage of 600V and an average forward current of 1A (2A at lower lead temperature). The device offers a maximum forward voltage drop of 1.05V at 1A and 150°C junction temperature, with a reverse recovery time of 75ns. It can handle non-repetitive peak surge currents up to 35A.
The rectifier is built with a high temperature glass passivated junction and is ESD rated (HBM >8kV, CDM >1000V). It operates over a junction temperature range of -65°C to 175°C, making it suitable for demanding environments. The device is housed in a small, surface-mount DO-214AA (SMB) package with J-bend leads, weighing approximately 95mg. The package is epoxy molded with corrosion-resistant, solderable terminals.
The MURS160T3G is ideal for use as a freewheeling diode, protection diode, or in high-frequency rectification circuits where compact size and reliability are critical. It is RoHS compliant and Pb-free, meeting environmental standards.
