The MURS140T3 is an ultra-fast recovery rectifier diode from ON Semiconductor designed for high voltage, high frequency rectification applications. It is rated for a maximum repetitive reverse voltage of 400V and an average forward current of 1A (2A at lower temperature). The diode has a maximum forward voltage drop of 0.71 to 1.05V at 1A and 150°C junction temperature, ensuring low conduction losses.
The device offers a reverse recovery time of 75ns, minimizing switching losses in high-frequency circuits. It can withstand non-repetitive peak surge currents up to 35A. The operating junction temperature ranges from -65°C to +175°C.
Housed in a surface-mount SMB (DO-214AA) package with J-bend leads, the component is compact and suitable for automated assembly. It is RoHS compliant and lead-free. The package weighs approximately 95mg and can withstand soldering temperatures up to 260°C for 10 seconds.
