The MURD320T4G from On Semiconductor is a state-of-the-art ultrafast rectifier diode designed for use in switching power supplies, inverters, and as freewheeling diodes. With a 35ns reverse recovery time, it is suitable for high-frequency applications. The device is rated for a maximum average rectified current of 3A at a case temperature of 158°C and a peak repetitive reverse voltage of 200V. The forward voltage drop is typically 0.95V at 3A and 25°C. The diode can handle a non-repetitive peak surge current of 75A. The junction operating temperature range is -65°C to 175°C. The device is housed in a DPAK (TO-252-3) surface-mount package, which is epoxy molded and weighs approximately 0.4 grams. The leads are corrosion resistant and readily solderable. The package is supplied in tape and reel with a standard quantity of 2500 pieces. The MURD320T4G is Pb-free and RoHS compliant. It also has ESD ratings of >400V (Machine Model) and >8kV (Human Body Model).
