The MURB1620CTT4G is a state-of-the-art switch-mode power rectifier designed for use in switching power supplies, inverters, and as freewheeling diodes. It consists of a common cathode pair of ultrafast diodes with a reverse recovery time of 35 ns.
Each diode leg can handle an average rectified forward current of 8 A at 150°C case temperature, with a total device rating of 16 A. The forward voltage is typically 975 mV at 8 A. The device can withstand a non-repetitive peak surge current of 100 A. It operates over a junction temperature range of -65°C to 175°C.
The device is offered in the D2PAK (TO-263) surface mount package, which is designed for power surface mount applications. The package is Pb-Free and RoHS compliant, with an MSL rating of 1. The device also features high ESD ratings: HBM Class 3B (>8000 V) and MM Class C (>400 V).
