The MURA260T3 from onsemi is an ultrafast recovery rectifier diode designed for high voltage, high frequency rectification and freewheeling applications. It features a peak repetitive reverse voltage (VRRM) of 600V and an average rectified forward current (IF(AV)) of 2.0A at TL=110°C. The device offers a low forward voltage drop of 1.2V maximum at 2.0A and TJ=150°C, and a fast reverse recovery time (trr) of 75ns.
This rectifier is housed in a compact, surface mount SMA package (DO-214AC) with J-bend leads, making it suitable for automated handling and space-constrained designs. The junction is glass passivated for high temperature operation, with an operating junction temperature range of -65°C to +175°C. The device is Pb-free, halogen free/BFR free, and RoHS compliant.
Typical applications include high frequency rectification, freewheeling diodes, and protection diodes in power supplies, inverters, and motor control circuits. The MURA260T3 is also available in automotive-grade variants (SURA8260T3G series) qualified to AEC-Q101.
