The MURA205T3 from On Semiconductor is an ultra-fast recovery power rectifier designed for high voltage and high frequency rectification applications. It is housed in a compact SMA (DO-214AC) surface mount package, making it suitable for applications where space and weight are critical.
This rectifier has a maximum repetitive reverse voltage rating of 50V and an average forward current rating of 1.0A at 155°C or 2.0A at 135°C. It boasts a fast recovery time of 30 ns and a low forward voltage drop of 0.74V maximum at 2.0A and 150°C junction temperature. The operating junction temperature range is from -65°C to 175°C.
Key features include a high-temperature glass passivated junction and corrosion-resistant external surfaces with readily solderable leads. The device is designed for automated handling with its rectangular package and J-bend leads. It is Pb-Free, Halogen Free/BFR Free, and RoHS Compliant.
Applications include free-wheeling and protection diodes in surface mount systems. The device offers excellent ESD protection, with Human Body Model exceeding 4000V (Class 3) and Charged Device Model exceeding 1000V.
