The MURA105T3G is a surface mount ultrafast power rectifier designed by ON Semiconductor for high voltage, high frequency rectification applications. It is rated for a maximum peak repetitive reverse voltage of 50V and an average rectified forward current of 1.0A at a lead temperature of 155°C, or 2.0A at 135°C. The device can handle non-repetitive peak surge currents up to 50A.
Key electrical characteristics include a low forward voltage drop of 0.66V maximum at 1.0A and TJ=150°C, and a fast reverse recovery time of 30ns maximum. The junction is glass passivated for high temperature stability, and the operating junction temperature range spans -65°C to +175°C. Thermal resistance from junction to lead is 24°C/W, and junction to ambient is 216°C/W when mounted on minimum pad size FR-4.
The part is supplied in a compact DO-214AC (SMA) surface mount package with J-bend leads, weighing approximately 70mg. It is designed for automated handling and is available in Pb-free packages. ESD protection exceeds 4000V HBM and 400V MM. The device is suitable for use in freewheeling and protection diode circuits where space and weight are critical.
