The MUR860G is an ultrafast rectifier diode from On Semiconductor, part of the Switch-mode Power Rectifiers series. It is rated for a maximum average rectified forward current of 8A at a case temperature of 150°C and a peak repetitive reverse voltage of 600V. The diode offers a maximum forward voltage of 1.5V at 8A and a reverse recovery time of 60ns, making it suitable for high-frequency switching applications.
Designed for use in switching power supplies, inverters, and free-wheeling diode circuits, the MUR860G features a nonrepetitive peak surge current rating of 100A. It has an operating junction temperature range of -65°C to 175°C and a thermal resistance (junction-to-case) of 2.0°C/W. The device is housed in a through-hole TO-220-2 package and is RoHS3 compliant.
