The MUR220G is an ultrafast power rectifier designed for use in switching power supplies, inverters, and as freewheeling diodes. It offers a peak repetitive reverse voltage of 200V and an average rectified forward current of 2A at TA=90°C. The device features an ultrafast reverse recovery time of 25ns maximum, enabling high-frequency operation. Forward voltage is typically 0.95V maximum at 2A and 25°C, dropping to 0.75V at 150°C. Reverse leakage current is 2µA maximum at 25°C and 50µA at 150°C. The junction can operate from -65°C to +175°C.
The rectifier is housed in a DO-204AL (DO-41) axial lead through-hole package. The case is epoxy molded with corrosion-resistant finish and solderable leads. Lead temperature for soldering is 260°C maximum for 10 seconds. The device is Pb-Free and weighs approximately 0.4 grams. Polarity is indicated by a cathode band.
This component is suitable for switchmode power supply designs, inverter stages, and freewheeling diode applications where fast recovery and low forward voltage are critical. The high-temperature glass passivated junction ensures reliability under stress.
