The MUR180ERLG is a SWITCHMODE Power Rectifier from ON Semiconductor, designed for applications such as switching power supplies, inverters, and free-wheeling diodes. It offers an ultrafast 75 nanosecond recovery time and a high reverse voltage capability up to 800V.
Key electrical characteristics include a maximum forward voltage of 1.75V at 1A and 150°C, and a maximum instantaneous reverse current of 600µA at rated DC voltage and 100°C. The device is rated for a continuous average rectified forward current of 1A at 95°C ambient temperature.
Mechanically, the MUR180ERLG is housed in an epoxy molded case with an axial lead finish, making it suitable for through-hole mounting. The operating junction temperature range is from -65°C to +175°C. It also guarantees 10 millijoules of avalanche energy, providing excellent protection against voltage transients in switching inductive load circuits.
This device is Pb-Free compliant. It is available in plastic bags of 1,000 per bag or on tape and reel for higher volume applications.
