The MUR1520 is an ultrafast rectifier diode from ON Semiconductor, designed for use in switching power supplies, inverters, and as free wheeling diodes. It offers a peak repetitive reverse voltage of 200V and an average rectified current of 15A at a case temperature of 150°C. The device features a typical reverse recovery time of 35ns, enabling high-frequency operation.
With a maximum forward voltage of 1.05V at 15A, the MUR1520 provides low conduction losses. It can handle nonrepetitive peak surge currents up to 200A. The operating junction temperature range is -65°C to 175°C, and the thermal resistance from junction to case is 1.5°C/W.
The MUR1520 is packaged in a TO-220-2 through-hole package, making it suitable for standard PCB mounting. The device is Pb-free and has ESD ratings of 3B (Human Body Model) and C (Machine Model).
