The MUR1515G is an ultrafast rectifier diode from ON Semiconductor designed for use in switching power supplies, inverters, and freewheeling diode applications. It features a maximum reverse voltage of 150V and an average rectified current of 15A. The forward voltage is 1.05V at 15A, and the reverse recovery time is 35ns, making it suitable for high-frequency switching circuits. The device can handle a non-repetitive peak surge current of 200A and operates over a junction temperature range of -65°C to 175°C. It is housed in a TO-220-2 through-hole package with a junction-to-case thermal resistance of 1.5°C/W and a junction-to-ambient thermal resistance of 73°C/W. The leads are solderable at up to 260°C for 10 seconds. The part is Pb-free and RoHS compliant (unverified). The device is part of the MUR15xx series offering various voltage ratings, and is available in Pb-free packaging.
