The MUR140G is a 400V, 1A ultrafast rectifier diode from ON Semiconductor, part of the MUR120 series of SWITCHMODE power rectifiers. It is designed for use in switching power supplies, inverters, and as freewheeling diodes.
Key electrical specifications include a maximum forward voltage of 1.25V at 1A, a reverse recovery time of 75ns (tested at IF=1A, di/dt=50A/µs), and a peak repetitive reverse voltage of 400V. The device can handle an average rectified forward current of 1A at 120°C case temperature and a nonrepetitive peak surge current of 35A.
