The MUR120RL is a standard recovery rectifier diode from ON Semiconductor's SWITCHMODE power rectifier series. It is designed for use in switching power supplies, inverters, and freewheeling diode applications.
Key electrical specifications include a maximum DC reverse voltage of 200V, an average rectified forward current of 1A, and a maximum forward voltage of 875mV at 1A. The device offers a fast reverse recovery time of 35ns and a low reverse leakage current of 2µA at rated voltage. It can operate at junction temperatures up to 175°C.
The diode is housed in a DO-204AL (DO-41) axial lead package and is through-hole mountable. The package is epoxy molded with corrosion-resistant terminals and solderable leads. The cathode is indicated by a polarity band. The RL suffix indicates tape and reel packaging with 5,000 units per reel.
